About Lifebuilders Institute

Our Mission Is:
Our certificate programs are developed by founder and directors whose expertise in Biblical and theoretical frameworks equips students to navigate the challenges they face and in turn equips them to help others do the same. Students learn through virtual instruction, interactive formats and workshops, designed to build practical skills. Lifebuilders curriculum addresses the Eleven Dimensions of Kingdom Wellness.

Our Story
Lifebuilders Institute is a Christ-centered organization dedicated to providing certificate training programs that equip counselors, coaches, and leaders with practical tools and essential skills to serve and strengthen their communities through meaningful, needed services. With a focus on the 12 Dimensions of Kingdom Wellness, the Institute empowers individuals to integrate faith and psychological approaches to foster lasting transformation to spirit, soul, and body.
Lifebuilders Institute was founded in 2010 by the late Dr. Doris G. Morgan as a branch of her counseling practice established in 1998, then known as Lifebuilders Counseling Services Institute. In 2011, this certification training program received approval from the California State Board of Behavioral Sciences to be a Continuing Education provider. With that approval, Lifebuilders began training programs for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists and Licensed Clinical Social Workers to obtain C.E.U.s and certification training to become Professional Biblical Counselors and Coaches.
Dr. Morgan and co-developer Dr. Kim Troy Curry developed this Professional Biblical Counseling and Coaching certification training to equip professionals and lay leaders with Biblical principles, integrated with evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions, cultivating profound transformation from the inside out.
To date, our program has achieved a 90% completion rate, and graduates have subsequently established ministries, counseling and coaching services across diverse domains, including alcohol and drug counseling, Marriage and Family therapy, women’s support group, men’s support group and wellness initiatives.
