Welcome to Module A Building On A Sure Foundation. The main goal of this Professional Biblical Counseling and Coaching certificate program is to train qualified leaders who are called by God to help individuals overcome challenges utilizing Faith-Based Biblical principles that God has already provided in His Word to resolve problems and pressures in life. The Word of God informs us that when we want to build something of value and want to build something that will last; we should build it on a sure and solid foundation. We should build our foundation on something that is solid and strong, like a rock, because a rock foundation can withstand the pressures that are sure to come against it. Jesus said, we should build on a rock foundation so when the rains fall, the floods come, the winds blow and beat against our building, it will not fall. The Rock, Jesus was referring to, is the Rock of our Salvation, the Lord Jesus Christ, Himself. (Matthew 7:24-27; 1 Corinthians 3:10-15).

There is no greater foundation than that of the Godhead and the power of God's Holy Word, the Bible. That is why we chose to entitle Module A, Building on a Sure Foundation. Module A contains the first four lessons of this certificate program in a workbook format. Each of the four lessons is foundational to the expanded coursework students will receive in Modules B, C and D. Module A focuses on developing your knowledge of your unique purpose and potential God intends for you to fulfill. You will be equipped to establish your standard of truth and worldview.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Module A, Building on a Sure Foundation, includes Workbook Lessons A301 to A304.  At the end of each lesson, you will take a quiz covering what you've learned from that lesson. When you have completed the four lessons in Module A, you will begin completing the learning activities. 

Workbook Lesson A301, Know the Godhead, focuses on knowing the Godhead (God the Father, God the Son, Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit). It begins with an assessment to help you measure the level of your spiritual knowledge and the Godhead. Lesson A302, Know the Power of God’s Word, explores the magnificence of the power of God's Holy Word, the Bible. Lesson A303, Know Your Purpose and Potential, is a journey of discovering your general, specific and ultimate potential as a Professional Biblical Counselor and Coach, to the extent God always intended for you achieve, through your personal life and as you assist your clients through their recovery. Lesson A304, Know Basic Faith-Based Biblical Principles, emphasizes the importance of knowing basic Biblical principles or Laws for us to determine as our standard of living which God established in His Word.
